CLOTHING SWAP! “SWAP FOR A CAUSE” Finally after much waiting IT is here! Time for another Clothing Swap. This one will be a little different, still the same giant pile, booze and fun, But due to popularity it is time to move on up space! The swap will be held at the Center for Sex and Culture in the SOMA! (YAY)
***since we can not sell liquor there this will be a BYOB event! so make sure to pick up some booze before hand!***So Bag up your clothes and your drag, your jeans, shirts, shorts and dresses. ALL SIZES! ALL TYPES! ALL EVERYTHING! if it can be worn, bring it to the pile!From 6-7:30 we will be drinking, hanging out, music and getting to know your fellow swappers. Also sneaking peaks at the haul and try to spot your new cute look! Since this is not at house we are on a time schedule and will diving into the pile at 7:30 till 9. For those who are new, all clothes are thrown together in a giant pile and the crowd is released and your dive in and discover amazing treasures and looks! A $5 donation is suggested to help cover the cost of the renting the space, but this is NOTAFLOF. So keep in mind just because your dont have clothes to bring, your can donate in other ways and still leave with some great clothes and guilt free conscience!***The first 10 people to donate will get pick an item out of the pile before the swap begins***All Remaining clothes will be donated to community thrift on behalf of ST. Give OUT Day is a new national initiative that will engage hundreds of organizations and mobilize thousands of people on a single day across the country to give in support of the lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender & queer community. It is a chance for LGBTQ groups large and small, to work across the wide range of issues and activities that matter to the LGBTQ community from sports to policy change, families to the arts. It is a chance for members of the LGBTQ community and our many allies to stand up and show our support for our community together on one day. It is a chance to make history, we hope you’ll join us!
