Panel skirts have been a burlesque costume and tease tradition.  Students will learn choreography skills with the different panel styles and how to accentuate movement to create visually stunning movement and tease your audience.  Each student will get the opportunity to try different panel styles and weights to explore many of the options that panels bring to an act.  We will also cover panel costume design – how to make and attachment options.  This is a great class for students looking to try panels and experienced dancers alike.
Students who have a panel skirt costume already should bring it.  There will also be some practice skirts available for those students who do not have panel skirts.  Please wear movement clothes and shoes (if applicable to your performance style).
