The Mayor of Folsom Street: The Life and Times of Daddy Alan Selby: RAUCUS RED, BRILLIANT BLUE
A Performance by “Queer David” Lawrence, by Donation. NOTAFLOF
Saturday, July 12th, 7pm

Exhibit runs: June 6 – July 27

David Lawrence, known as QUEER DAVID to fellow activists and friends, was born in the Summer of Love. San Francisco is in his blood!  Finding success in LA’s fashion Industry, he set his sights on following his passion toward San Francisco’s “hardcore bohemian”, sex, and cruising scenes! Finding liberation through writing about his experiences drew him closer to his new beat poets heart. Making no comparisons, his new show “RAUCUS RED, BRILLIANT BLUE” is performed in tribute to Daddy Alan Selby, The Mayor of Folsom Street.

This performance is full of salty language, seedy scenarios, surrealistic comparison, and loving observance. In a sentence, “it is about one mans journey across the plains of America, to the glorious back alley’s of Folsom Street. Special musical guest Moon Trent!
