Door opens at 7:00 Program begins at 7:30 End by 9:30

Center for Sex & Culture: 1349 Mission Street (between 9th & 10th)

Wednesday, January 16, 2013, will be the first Handball Academy program of the new year. We’re going to start things off nice and slowly with an introduction of our Board of Directors and a brief presentation of our goals for the coming year.

As you know, the Academy has filed its application for nonprofit status with the IRS, and we’re hoping to have a resolution within the next 4 months. Because of the change in form, we needed a Board of Directors, and we’re very honored by the list of luminaries who have agreed to serve:

Dr. Richard Sprott, Ph.D.

Allan Hurst

David Wind

Rick Osmon

Lucky Choi

Dr. Robert Lawrence

Frank Strona

Dr. Clifford F. Maass, M.D., Ph.D.

So things won’t get too dry, there will be plenty of champagne and sparkling soda along with some good, healthy snacks.

The Center for Sex & Culture is proud to be a recipient of a San Francisco Arts Commission Creative Space Grant, supporting CSC's physical space in three ways: developing our library (particularly shelving); improving our lighting grid, both for library and for our stage area; and supporting disability access to the building and its restroom facilities.
