Hosting and Organizing Sex Parties with Tenacious Snail
Sunday, December 2nd, 2:00pm - 5:00pm
Center for Sex and Culture: 1349 Mission St. San Francisco
Learn about how to organize and host the kind of sex/play party that you and your friends will enjoy. Discussions about how to choose a venue and the advantages to various types of venues; determining what conduct guidelines you want and need; developing and growing a guest list; being welcoming to newcomers (both new-to-your-party and new to parties in general); and the logistics and infrastructure to pull it all together!
Tenacious Snail is a queer, feminist polyamorous pervert. She is a former sex educator and AIDS activist. She loves facilitating joy, enabling smiles and listening to people have happy sex. She organized her first sex party for her birthday, and eagerly said Yes to more parties when the dungeon owners said it was the best private party they’d ever seen. She has been organizing Wonderland, a quarterly private party in Oakland for the past three years and recently started organizing Delight, a private party in San Francisco. This workshop is an outgrowth of a one hour workshop at OpenSF, and is designed to be more hands on and interactive. Workshop participants will have the opportunity to build community with each other, collaborate, and develop the skills and confidence to host play parties.
