Celebration of the Life of Robyn Few
Monday, October 1st 2:00 PM
City Hall: 1 Dr Carlton B Goodlett Pl, San Francisco
Robyn was a Mother, Patriotic Prostitute and Fierce Advocate for Medical Marijuana who left us on September 13th after a 4 year struggle with cancer.
Robyn touched many people’s lives. This occasion will be an opportunity for us to celebrate who she was, to mourn together and to give her a great going away party.
On Monday October, 1st at 2pm we’ll gather in front of San Francisco City Hall to honor Robyn with a few speeches and an open mic opportunity for anybody who wishes to share their memories of Robyn.
Next we’ll march in an animated and lively procession through the streets of Downtown San Francisco with our SW rights/Medical Marijuana signs, red umbrellas and boas to celebrate Robyn’s audacious spirit of activism.
We’ll finish off the afternoon at The Buck Tavern for Storytelling and Refreshments at 1655 Market St. There’s a full service bar and food menu. We’ll arrive here around 4pm.
Please bring: candles, pictures, signs, red umbrellas, bull horns, or any other special mementos to show off at the demonstration or to leave at the public altar.
All are welcome, please help spread the word.
