Lets face it, being a Burlesque performer has it’s perks! But with all the glitz and glamor, there can still be some last minute road blocks on the path to undressing with grace and style. Even when you are prepared to the fullest, there can always be last minute issues that need to be fixed. What happens when your music doesn’t work? Even worse, what if you are already on stage and it skips?! Maybe your zipper sticks or your panties get stuck around your ankles!?! Fear not, because The Bosom Buddies, GiGi La Femme and Anita Cookie, are here to help. From what to do when the stage doesn’t exist to tips on how to fix last minute costume malfunctions, these two have a solution for it all!

About these teachers:
Anita Cookie is the charmingly inebriated burlesque star whose sparkling singing voice, dynamite shimmy and intoxicated wit have been called everything from “hilarious” (NYTheater.com) to “sizzling hot” (Go Magazine). Originally hailing from the tan line-free shores of the Pacific, she took the stages of New York by storm and can be seen every night knocking audiences out of their chairs around the city, and across the continent from Key West to Toronto. A Golden Pastie Award winner at the New York Burlesque Festival, Anita is also one-third of the quirky music trio Gigi & Pop, winners of the first-ever “Best Variety Act” trophy at the Burlesque Hall of Fame Pageant 2009 in Las Vegas. As a producer, she’s created boozier, more naked versions of classic game shows and talk shows, and been on multiple national tours as a part of Dangerous Curves Ahead: Burlesque on the Go-Go
Since 2005, GiGi La Femme has been named one of New York City’s sultriest striptease stars and is the producer of Revealed Burlesque. A Golden Pastie Award winner for Best Booty Shaker 2009, Perfect Posterior 2011 and Miss Coney Island 2010, the multi-talented bump n grinder, go-go girl, chanteuse and pin-up model has traveled the nation with the ladies of Dangerous Curves Ahead: Burlesque on the Go-Go performing her super hot signature acts in addition to teaming up with her favorite songstress and Bosom Buddy: Anita Cookie! This October, she left her hometown of New York City and landed in Nashville, TN! To keep track of this Yankee gal’s fun-loving adventures in Dixieland and around the world, check GiGi out online at: www.gigilafemme.com
