It's a 173rd birthday party for our namesake Victoria Woodhull! It's an annual celebration of Sexual Freedom Day. And it's a day you're not going to want to miss!
You're invited to gather with other Sexual Freedom advocates in Washington, DC on Friday, September 23, 2011, to learn, share ideas and celebrate the sexual freedom movement's big day.
This year, Woodhull's focus on freedom of sexual speech and expression is highlighted in our educational program, "Sexual Outlaws: The Prohibition of Pleasure." We hope you will join us to find out more about the war on sex and why right now is a crucial time for advocates of sexual freedom. We have already confirmed human rights leaders, academics, community advocates, writers, educators, and performers and we hope we can count you in as well!
After we've stimulated your minds, Join us after the panels and stimulate your "fun" side with an evening program featuring receptions, entertainment, and the "Vicki" awards, recognizing outstanding sexual freedom advocates, Ajamu Baraka, Bob Corn-Revere and Carmen Vazquez, and hosted by CAROL QUEEN AND NINA HARTLEY!
