Every woman can develop the ability to have fulfilling orgasms if she desires. Sexual energy is like energy in any other form: we can allow it to flow through us, or we can block it, consciously or unconsciously. The variety of women’s sexual responses is huge and there is no norm, no right or wrong, only what each of us individually needs and desires.
Workshop leader Mikaya Heart, author of THE ULTIMATE GUIDE TO ORGASM FOR WOMEN: How to Become Orgasmic for a Lifetime, teaches that "allowing any flow of energy requires letting go of the effort to control it—which is contrary to much of what we are taught as we grow up. The sensation of energy flowing can be uncomfortable when we are not used to it. We need to step outside of the intellectual self that wants us to be in control all the time and let ourselves be 'carried away.'" Sex is a great way of learning to allow energy, our life-force, to flow through us.
In this instructive, encouraging and empowering workshop, you'll learn about:
* The elusive orgasm and what to do about it
* The G Spot and ejaculation
* Establishing what you want in bed and communicating that to your partner
* Expanding our concept of what sex is
* Sex, union, and intimacy
* Dealing with so-called “inappropriate feelings” that might arise.
* Making friends with your body
There will be an opportunity for women to ask questions anonymously.
Mikaya Heart is an author, speaker, life coach and explorer. She grew up in Scotland and immigrated to Northern California in the 1970s. She is the author of seven books and the recipient of a Golden Crown Literary Award. She’s done personal growth and sexual healing work with illustrious teachers and is herself a spiritual teacher, offering workshops on the art of being fully alive. She is also a qualified kitesurfing instructor, her greatest passion. |
