CSC is proud to announce Calumet Photography's Fetish Photography Series. They begin with Laces and Light, an exploration of the history, background and historical information around corsetry. Have you ever wanted to work with a professionally lit set with high-end models? Now's your chance. Calumet Photography is exploring this totally new method of photography instruction, something new which will help any photographer to communicate better with fetish models about what they want.

Fetish is defined in the Oxford English Dictionary d. Psychol. An object, a non-sexual part of the body, or a particular action which abnormally serves as the stimulus to, or the end in itself of, sexual desire.
Do you have a desire to see someone laced into a corset? Would you like to learn where this undergarment fetish came from and how people live and work in them on a daily basis? Might you have an inkling to take a picture of a lovely model in these garments?

San Francisco Calumet and the Center for Sex and Culture would like to welcome you to world of Fetish Photography.

Class will begin promptly at 9:30am with a lecture on the world of Corsetry, where it came from, how it has evolved over the years, and what current artists do daily to live within those steel boned confines.

Our featured photographer will then give us a general lecture of equiptment we will be using, basic set up, and how to help achieve over all effect, with an emphasis for the dramatic.

We will break for lunch, then come back to start shooting! Time slots will be provided to help each photographer gain their own personal experience with each model and look.

On Saturday, from 10am - 12:30pm, the post class follow up will include instructor critique and a photo contest.

This will be a series of classes done hand in hand with the San Francisco Center for Sex and Culture. Please join us for a day of education, and evocative picture taking.
