Sex Worker Safety, Happiness, and Health May 29th, 11 am- 5 pm
Learn new skills, build community, and have fun! Learn about your legal rights, how to protect yourself from getting arrested, safer sex, attracting safe clients, self-defense, physical and emotional self-care, and more. This workshop is aimed at people of all genders who have recently started internet-based sex work or want to transition from street/club/massage parlor-based to internet-based work*. Sex workers of all genders, abilities, races, ages and sizes are welcome. Specific concerns for people of color, transgender workers, and people of size will be addressed.
All sex workers are welcome, but the workshop will contain a lot of information that's geared towards relative newbies. If you're more experienced and want to come only for the legal and/or self-defense sections of the class please let me know when you RSVP. The self-defense part involves active participation for people of all abilities, so please wear clothes you can move in.

$20-$40 suggested donation. All proceeds will benefit the San Francisco Bad Date List, a safety tool for street-based sex workers. No one turned away for lack of funds. There will be a lunch break, but it will be short, so please bring your lunch with you.
*This workshop is NOT for those who are not already working.
